Since I wrote on my Facebook timeline, “If you study the Bible with the lens of the Holy Spirit, you'll realized that God isn't behind the KILLINGS in the old testament,” many folks have been asking me to elaborate that post for their understanding. Before I proceed, I would like to infer your attention on one of the reasons why Jesus came to earth. Aside to die for our sins, Jesus came to make what was unknown about God known. He came to rewrite what was falsely written about God. Actually, Jesus came to reveal the true character of God. "Is your name written in the book of life?" isn't a question for a believer in Christ. Yes it isn't. As a believer, you don't need to ask yourself or a fellow believer such question. It is ignorant to do so because the book of life isn't literally a book. It's emblematically started in the Bible so you need the lens of the Holy Spirit to figure out what it means. The book of life is the person of Christ. In Christ is life. He is life Himself. Actually, Christ is the book of life. The writings of the book of life (Christ) includes anyone who believes in Christ. The ministry of Jesus and His life on earth demonstrate that God is a good God. For Jesus Christ is the real definition of God. Knowing Jesus is knowing God. Actually, God is truly known only in Jesus Christ. Outside Jesus, you only know an unknown God. While on earth, He (Jesus) was always and only found doing good, nothing more (Acts 10:38). Teaching goodness, healing the sick, raising the dead, and casting out devil were His business. That's who God is. God doesn't kill, He gives life, even in abundance. He doesn't destroy, He repairs and builds. He doesn't inflict pain and infirmities, He heals. He doesn't take from man, He rather gives to man. Anything bad and evil isn't of God and isn't from Him.  In case you have read or heard anything bad or evil of God, run to Jesus, read and study about Him. He is the right interpretation of God. The Holy Spirit isn't a name but a description. He describes who God is. He reveals the character and personality of Christ Jesus who is God. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Christ Jesus who is God.👇👇 John 4:24 (NKJV)  God is Spirit [Holy Spirit] , and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” 2 Corinthians 3:17 Now the Lord [Christ Jesus] is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord [Christ Jesus] is, there is liberty. Blending the scriptures above👆 demonstrate and teach that God is Spirit and the Spirit is Jesus Christ. This also reveals the truth that Jesus Christ is God and there is no doubt. Therefore, the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Christ. When you receive Jesus Christ, you have received the Holy Spirit. Christ in you is the Holy Spirit in you. Moreover, rejecting the work of the Holy Spirit is rejection the work of Christ. Those who don't believe in the Holy Spirit don't truly believe in Jesus Christ. One day, I attended a certain denomination for a Bible study. During the studies, the Pastor said something which baffled me as he was teaching about salvation. He said, "as a believer, you're to do your best to continue in obedience and humility so that THE LORD WILL CONSIDER AND SELECT YOU AMONG THE SAVED when He returns." 🤔 I then asked him a question about the statement he made. "Pastor, will you be considered and selected among the saved when the Lord returns?" His reply was, "I can't tell, only the Lord knows." I wasn't surprised of his reply because I was once in the shoes of religion which made me think alike. Similarly, many believers are not certain of their salvation. They pray almost every day just to make sure God select them among the saved or writes their names in the book of life. Even most denominations gather for such purpose which is very wrong. Sin doesn't exist anymore. Jesus took it away by dying on the cross. The world no more has sin problem but life problem. Put differently, the world is sinless but LIFELESS. Everyone needs ETERNAL LIFE by believing in JESUS. I dealt with this (sin is destroyed) issue in the first part. Now let's continue by excavating CARNALITY. 👇👇 Carnality is the side effect of Adam's sin which Jesus destroyed. After Adam sinned, his body became corruptible. So generationally, man's body is bound to corrupt. Nothing good is in the human body (flesh). The flesh profits nothing. The works of the flesh are immoral. This is as a result of sin and death. Though sin is destroyed, but it's consequence (carnality) is still at work. That's why believers are promised a new body which is incorruptible in the new world yet to come (1 Corinthians 15:50-57). Until you recieve the incorruptible body, the only way to overcome carnality is TO RENEW YOUR MIND WITH THE WORD. That's to say...

To really understand the true Gospel and the writings of the Bible, it's very significant to know the difference between SIN and CARNALITY or WORK OF THE FLESH. Carnality isn't SIN itself, rather, it is the repercussion of sin. Let me push it hard to fish out the difference between sin and carnality.  In the Garden of Eden, God commanded Adam NOT to eat the tree of the Knowledge of good and evil, otherwise, he shall surely die. That command was the law guiding and sustaining Adam in the Garden. Did Adam obey the law? Unfortunately, he DISOBEYED. That was how SIN came into being. There are some teachings Jesus taught that was meant for a moment before His death and resurrection. In other words, He taught or said certain things in the confinement of the law because the law was still in use.  For instance, Jesus taught that if one forgive others, God will forgive him. But if he refuses to forgive, God will not forgive him his sins. This teaching about forgiveness of sins was taught within the confinement of the law of Moses. Now, after the resurrection, God forgave the world. So you don't forgive others for God to forgive you, rather, you forgive others because God has already forgiven you all your sins through the blood of Jesus. Are you getting it? A brother asked me, "Do you fast? If you do why?" I have fasted before but from the day I encountered the Word till now I don't fast. I remember I planned to go as far as 40days fasting after I had my longest fasting ever (21days)🤔😔. Knowledge they say is power. In Christ,  knowing and holding unto the truth brings total freedom. Because of lack of knowledge, many are perishing.  I did fast ignorantly because I thought that was the way to get more closer to God, to get more power to break satanic traps, to get breakthroughs, to hear God's voice, and what you can think of. Yes, CHRIST commanded us to baptise anyone who believes in Him. But you have to understand the BAPTISM Christ was talking about. BAPTISM refers not only to immersing one in WATER. Actually, HE was telling us to initiate anyone who believes in the Gospel in the Holy SPIRIT. If you really want to understand the scripture clearly, you need to consider Jesus's teaching first before you consider that of the apostles. He is the author and finisher of our faith.  WATER BAPTISM is like circumcision today. It adds nothing to your relationship with God whether or not you practise. Never ever think wedding is the same as marriage. They are different. God instituted marriage and not wedding. Wedding was created by man. Marriage was instituted for a PURPOSE and for wedding, man created it for PLEASURE. Wedding is a ritual or feast perform officially to celebrate the beginning of a marriage. Is taking in alcohol a sin as a believer in Christ? In the first place, alcohol intake has nothing to do with whether or not you are a believer. Eating and drinking come along with a choice. You choose what to eat and drink. And what you consume, as in food and drink, doesn't defile you. Tithing isn't required neither is it emboldened for believers in Christ Jesus. It was distinctively meant for the nation Isreal for specific purposes and even now it is illegitimate. Who is your spiritual father? This is one of the questions many believers answer wrongly. At the moment you ask this question the answer you receive is the names of pastors, prophets, etc. However, pastors are not spiritual fathers. Your pastor is not your spiritual father, rather he is your spiritual brother. There is only one spiritual father.  Apart from Him, there is none other. Many believers of Christ today are not experiencing the power of the Gospel because they lack the accurate knowledge and meaning of these two phrases, “THE BIBLE" and “THE WORD OF GOD". Actually, they are not the same. Maturity is when you realised that there is deference between The Bible and The Word of God. Our worship to God is not time, day or place restricted. In other words, you don't need a time, day or place to worship the Father (God). You don't need a well decorated building neither do you need any mountain before you can worship God. It is a big lie to think or believe that God responds quickly to worship at a particular time, day or place. Religion has corrupted many minds and destroyed many souls. I love to teach about prayer. I love to pray every minute because it gets me closer and closer to God. You hate to pray because you lack the accurate knowledge about prayer. Prayer is not a burden at all, religion has made it so. Prayer is a fellowship. It is a love communication. It is a love talk between a loving Father and a loving Child. Prayer is experiencing the presence of God. I hope you have got it. So if you love to experience God's presence, you will love to pray always without ceasing. Satan has been defeated by Jesus for you. Why are you trying to defeat he who has been defeated for your sake? Don't waste your strength and precious time on Satan. Anointing expresses the sanctifying influences of the Holy Spirit upon Christians (Children of God). The anointing is the Spirit of Christ in you. And anyone who believes in Christ Jesus has His Spirit in him and therefore he is anointed. We all have equal(same) ANOINTING as children of God. Your pastor is not more anointed than you are. You are equally anointed as he is. Besides, we don't increase in anointing; we increase in knowledge of Christ. The knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ is what help us to realize how anointed we are. Know-ledge in Christ is what you need. You see your pastor as more anointed than you are because of his knowledge of Christ. He uses what he knows in Christ to demonstrate the anointing. Actually, you are his coequal in anointing. It's just that you have not realized it. And it takes the knowledge of Jesus Christ for you to realize that.
