THE BOOK OF LIFE

"Is your name written in the book of life?" isn't a question for a believer in Christ. Yes it isn't. As a believer, you don't need to ask yourself or a fellow believer such question. It is ignorant to do so because the book of life isn't literally a book. It's emblematically started in the Bible so you need the lens of the Holy Spirit to figure out what it means. The book of life is the person of Christ. In Christ is life. He is life Himself. Beholding Christ is beholding life eternal. 👇👇


1 John 5:12 (NKJV) 

He who has the Son [CHRIST JESUS] has LIFE; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.


Actually, Christ is the book of life. The writings of the book of life (Christ) includes anyone who believes in Christ. In other words, if you believe in Christ, you are in Christ and that you're in the book of life. So you don't need to be asked the above question👆 if you believe in Christ. Besides, you don't pray and fast for God to write your name in the book of Life, rather, you believe in Christ to be part of His writings. Believing in Christ makes you an epistle of the book of life (Christ). Let's read👇👇


2 Corinthians 3:3 (NKJV) 

clearly you are AN EPISTLE OF CHRIST, ministered by us, written not with ink but by the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of flesh, that is, of the heart.


Obviously, the epistles you read in the Bible are that of Apostle Paul, and the other apostles. Christ own epistles are believers. The Apostles wrote their epistles with ink but Christ's epistles are written not with ink but with the Holy Spirit. So far as you believe in Christ, you are eternally secured in Him (the book of life). If a man is in Christ, he is an epistle of the book of life; his life is now eternally resting in Christ.


Concisely, Christ is the book that records believers. If you are in Christ there is no need to worry, you're in the book of life. Shake off condemnation and intimidation by studying the Bible with the optic of Christ. If you can't perceive Christ in the message, it's not the Gospel.

Despite all the evidences the nature (creation) reveal about God and His supremacy, many people still have shallow knowledge about God and even some don't believe in Him at all. (KJV)_ Always, there are many thoughts that come to our mind that we don't expect. These thoughts come due to mainly what we see and hear. Sometimes, the devil also brings some thoughts to our mind just to tempt us. The mind always receives and works on our senses; what we see, hear, feel, smell and taste. It therefore, begins to work on what is received from any of the senses whether good or evil, but we can set guard over its works.
