PRACTICALIZE YOUR CHRISTIAN FAITH

_For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps: (KJV)_

Christianity is more practical than theological. Knowing about God; studying everything in the Bible doesn't make a Christian. Instead, what makes a Christian is living (practicing) what is studied and known about God through Christ Jesus. Although it is important to study or listen to God's Word, it is more important than one can take a stick at to obey and practice what it says. Therefore, professing to be Christians without godly effect on our behavior and attitude is futile.

From our open verse, it obvious that we are called to live as Christ lived. Christ is our ultimate example. We are to walk in His footprints. So, not only by our mouth confessions, we are to practicalize our faith in Christ by giving ourselves to Him as living sacrifices which is holy and acceptable; allowing Him to transform our minds (Romans 12:1-2). With this, we will have the same mind (attitude) that Christ had. We will then be able to make ourselves nothing by taking a servant nature which relates to obedience. Thus, showing real love to our neighbours, feeling compassion for the needy, and loving to share.

Beloved, "Don't pretend to love others. Really love them. Hate what is wrong. Hold tightly to what is good. Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other. Never be lazy, but work hard and serve the Lord enthusiastically. Rejoice in our confident hope. He patient in trouble, and keep on praying. When God's people are in need, be ready to help them. Always be eager to practice hospitality. Be happy with those who are happy, and weep with those who weep. Live in harmony with each other. Don't be too proud to enjoy company of the ordinary people. And don't think you know it all!" - Romans 12:9-13, 15-16 (nlt).

THE UNCHANGEABLE DEPENDABLE GOD

đź““Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever. (KJV)_ David said, "the heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork" - Psalm 19:1. Despite all the evidences the nature (creation) reveal about God and His supremacy, many people still have shallow knowledge about God and even some don't believe in Him at all. They therefore limit the power of the Lord in situations. They face difficulties and think they are too big for the Lord to handle.
