PRAYER IS A FELLOWSHIP

I love to teach about prayer. I love to pray every minute because it gets me closer and closer to God. You hate to pray because you lack the accurate knowledge about prayer. Prayer is not a burden at all, religion has made it so. Prayer is a fellowship. It is a love communication. It is a love talk between a loving Father and a loving Child.

Prayer is experiencing the presence of God. I hope you have got it. So if you love to experience God's presence, you will love to pray always without ceasing. Jesus' Ministry on earth was successful because of prayer. He prayed always. The communications between Him and the Father was very tight. They never ceased talking to each other. Watch what Jesus said;

Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, THE SON CAN DO NOTHING OF HIMSELF, but what he SEETH THE FATHER DO: for what things soever HE DOETH, these also DOETH THE SON likewise.

Obviously, He did nothing without consulting the Father. In other words, before He did anything He communicated with the Father first. What a fellowship. This is how God is expecting from you and I. He want us to fellowship with Him through prayer. Fellowship is all about communication and togetherness.

What you having been doing all night in the name of resisting the devil and casting out demons is not prayer. Prayer is not what goes on between you and the devil. Between you and the devil, you manifest authority; you manifest the wisdom and the truth of God. God has given you the authority to trample on the works of the devil so you don't ask Him to resist the devil for you. To do that is lack of Faith. Cast out demons in Faith. Resist the devil with the Truth.

In prayer, we get to know the mysteries of God. God reveals to us what He has intended to do through us and we respond Amen. We then ask for His help; direction, strength and guidance to do so. And don't forget the help God gives to us is the Holy Spirit (Our helper and comforter). Having communicated with our lovely Father (God), we then go out fully prepared to manifest His power. This is exactly what Apostle Paul meant when he wrote to the Ephesians.

3 How that BY REVELATION HE MADE KNOWN UNTO ME THE MYSTERY; (as I wrote afore in few words,

9 And to make all men see what is the FELLOWSHIP OF THE MYSTERY, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:

10 To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might BE KNOWN BY THE CHURCH THE MANIFOLD WISDOM OF GOD,

You see, God revealed to (told) Apostle Paul the mystery (His plan). Put differently, He communicated with Paul about His plan. That is prayer. Then when the devil tries to oppose what God intends to do through us we let the devil know the authority God has given unto us. That is not prayer but manifolding (displaying) of authority. Read the verse ten again.

Prayer is not what religious people think it is. It's a fellowship. If you understand this, you will find out that even studying the Bible is a prayer. You will realised that singing hymns, making melodies, and thanking God are all prayers. Above all, God expects you to ask of Him things that refreshes His Spirit in you the more than worldly things (food, clothes, shelter, marriage, job, etc). Communicate to God in all your doings and He will give you directions (Proverbs 3:5-6).
