ABOUT SIN AND CARNALITY (Part 2)

Sin doesn't exist anymore. Jesus took it away by dying on the cross. The world no more has sin problem but life problem. Put differently, the world is sinless but LIFELESS. Everyone needs ETERNAL LIFE by believing in JESUS. I dealt with this (sin is destroyed) issue in the first part. Now let's continue by excavating CARNALITY. 👇👇

Carnality is the side effect of Adam's sin which Jesus destroyed. After Adam sinned, his body became corruptible. So generationally, man's body is bound to corrupt. Nothing good is in the human body (flesh). The flesh profits nothing. The works of the flesh are immoral. This is as a result of sin and death. Though sin is destroyed, but it's consequence (carnality) is still at work. That's why believers are promised a new body which is incorruptible in the new world yet to come (1 Corinthians 15:50-57).

Until you recieve the incorruptible body, the only way to overcome carnality is TO RENEW YOUR MIND WITH THE WORD. That's to say, you are to walk according to the Spirit, not the flesh. Don't forget that carnality isn't sin itself so it has no power to separate you from the love of God and your relationship with Him. What had that power was sin and it has been destroyed by Jesus.

Actually, every believer have two lives to live in freedom. This life which is ephemeral and the other one which is eternal. The death and resurrection of Jesus has provided freedom for your soul and your body. Believing in Jesus eternalizes (frees) your SOUL to meet the incorruptible body yet to come while abiding by His teachings sets your BODY free. Therefore, if you want to enjoy total freedom; for both your soul and body, you must believe in Jesus and renew your mind with THE WORD daily.

Furthermore, carnality (immorality) is an act against man, and NOT against God. For God doesn't see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but God looks at the heart which has believed in Jesus Christ. If you walk in carnality (work of the FLESH), it limits your capabilities in Christ. You do yourself evil and you become your own barrier by walking in the flesh. This is because carnality (immorality) is punishable. Laws have been established in various nations to punish almost all immoral acts. Obviously, walking in the Spirit frees you from punishable immoral acts to enjoy a peaceful life.👇👇

Romans 8:5-6 (NKJV)
5 For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.
6 For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

Besides, living in immorality disgraces who you are in Christ and it destroys most of your opportunities in this life. With immorality, you can abort God's purpose for you in this life. Your faith can be hampered from exhibiting and enjoying Kingdom stuffs here on earth. You can't manifest heaven on earth if you don't overcome carnality. And that's exactly what Apostle Paul meant when he cautioned the Galatians. Let's read 👇👇

Galatians 5:21 (NKJV)
...envy, murders,drunkenness, revelries, and the like [CARNALITY or IMMORALITY]; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit [RECEIVE or MANIFEST] the kingdom of God [THINGS OF THE KINGDOM].

Dear believer, walk beyond the FLESH by renewing your mind daily with the WORD. Don't fulfill the desires of the flesh. By this, you will live beyond natural. You will experience the Christ in you if you set your mind on the things  above. Overcome carnality from now onwards and enjoy your sonship here on earth.

Colosians 3:1-2 (NKJV)
1 If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God.
2 Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.

THE UNCHANGEABLE DEPENDABLE GOD

Sometimes, the devil also brings some thoughts to our mind just to tempt us. The mind always receives and works on our senses; what we see, hear, feel, smell and taste.
