THE NAME OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

The Holy Spirit isn't a name but a description. He describes who God is. He reveals the character and personality of Christ Jesus who is God. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Christ Jesus who is God.👇👇


John 4:24 (NKJV) 

God is Spirit [Holy Spirit] , and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”


2 Corinthians 3:17

Now the Lord [Christ Jesus] is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord [Christ Jesus] is, there is liberty.


Blending the scriptures above👆 demonstrate and teach that God is Spirit and the Spirit is Jesus Christ. This also reveals the truth that Jesus Christ is God and there is no doubt. Therefore, the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Christ. When you receive Jesus Christ, you have received the Holy Spirit. Christ in you is the Holy Spirit in you.


Moreover, rejecting the work of the Holy Spirit is rejection the work of Christ. Those who don't believe in the Holy Spirit don't truly believe in Jesus Christ. This is because the Holy Spirit is Jesus Christ Himself. He testifies of Jesus. He bears the name of Jesus Christ. His name is CHRIST. Let's read what Jesus revealed in His teachings. 👇👇


John 14:17-18 (NKJV) 

17 the Spirit of truth [Holy Spirit] , whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; BUT YOU KNOW HIM , FOR HE DWELLS WITH YOU AND WILL BE IN YOU . 

18 I will not leave you orphans; I WILL COME TO YOU. 


Hope you read that? If you didn't capture that wonderful revelation about Jesus Christ, then please go back and read👆 again. Jesus was speaking of the Holy Spirit who in this article I'm revealing that He is Jesus Christ Himself. Jesus made it clear that they (disciples) know the Holy Spirit He is talking about even though they haven't received Him yet. How possible? Don't forget that Jesus was with them when He was speaking about the Holy Spirit. And He said, "you know Him for He DWELLS WITH YOU AND WILL BE IN YOU."


Paraphrasing what Jesus said to the disciples will mean that they know the Holy Spirit because He's He Himself and He is with them and will be in them as the Holy Spirit. The verse eighteen made it clear that He (Jesus) is the Holy Spirit. He said, he will not abandon them as orphans, He will come to them again but this time around in the form of Spirit (Holy Spirit).


Obviously, the name Jesus Christ is what the Holy Spirit bears. When you pray in the Spirit, you pray in the name of Jesus Christ. When you call on the name of Lord Jesus Christ , His Spirit (Holy Spirit) responds because He dwells in you as a believer. In a nutshell, the Holy Spirit is not on His own, Christ owns Him (John 16:12,13). He bears the name of Christ. His name is Christ 😇.
