ABOUT BAPTISM

Yes, CHRIST commanded us to baptise anyone who believes in Him. But you have to understand the BAPTISM Christ was talking about. BAPTISM refers not only to immersing one in WATER. Actually, HE was telling us to initiate anyone who believes in the Gospel in the Holy SPIRIT.

If you really want to understand the scripture clearly, you need to consider Jesus's teaching first before you consider that of the apostles. He is the author and finisher of our faith. 

WATER BAPTISM is like circumcision today. It adds nothing to your relationship with God whether or not you practise. Today, We still practise circumcision because it has been a way of life but now it's no more a covenant as God instilled in the days of Abraham. 

Likewise, the disciples were following suit after the depletion of John the Baptist ministry. Water baptism was the ministry of John the Baptist, so his followers followed suit. Holy spirit baptism is the ministry of Jesus Christ,  so we HIS followers must follow suit.

John the Baptist made it clear in Matthew 3:11... "I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire."

Jesus Christ himself made it clear in Acts 1:4-5.... ....“which,” He said, “you have heard from Me; for John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now''.....

I believe some of the disciples didn't understand the above words of John and JESUS and many people still don't understand it today. Jesus' focus was on the teachings about the HOLY SPIRIT because anyone who believes in Christ Jesus is born of the Spirit.

So instead of focusing your time and attention on water baptism which profits nothing today, you must difuse your mind with the HOLY SPIRIT BAPTISM by daily renewing your mind with the WORD through meditation.

THE UNCHANGEABLE DEPENDABLE GOD

WHAT COMES TO THE MIND

📓Romans 12:2 _And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. (KJV)_ Always, there are many thoughts that come to our mind that we don't expect. These thoughts come due to mainly what we see and hear. Sometimes, the devil also brings some thoughts to our mind just to tempt us. The mind always receives and works on our senses; what we see, hear, feel, smell and taste. It therefore, begins to work on what is received from any of the senses whether good or evil, but we can set guard over its works.
