STOP CHASING THE WIND!

📓Ecclesiastes 6:9
_Enjoy what you have rather than desiring what you don't have. Just dreaming about nice things is meaningless - like chasing the wind. (NLT)_

It is very awful to see some people with all their might running at a tough speed, desiring to get to the finish line without realizing that life is about grace and not race. Life is not about finishing first, but it is about finishing faithfully. Besides, it is not about been at the top position, but it is about been at the true position. It is obvious that many of us have the wrong perspective of life and are therefore chasing the wind unknowingly.

The wind can be felt as it passes, but we cannot get hold of it neither can we stop it from blowing. Trying to do that is nonsense and madness. All the treasures of life are like the wind. We can feel and enjoy them but we can't catch hold of them without loosing them neither can we stop them from blowing for others.  Also, as we adjust ourselves in order that the wind may not throw dust into our eyes or blow us away, so should we prevent treasures of life from blinding and from stealing us.

Beloved, life is designed for companionship not competition. Where then from the envies? Why do you want to be better than the person you have targeted? "My job is honorable than yours, my spouse is beautiful than yours, I earn much than you do" and the like boastings are all meaningless. By taking a careful look at your life, you will realize how important serving God is over everything. Instead of desiring to finish first, desire a faithful finishing. "The world and it's evil desires are passing away. But whoever does what God wants them to do lives forever" (1 John 2:17, NIrV).

THE UNCHANGEABLE DEPENDABLE GOD

📓Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever. (KJV)_ David said, "the heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork" - Psalm 19:1. Despite all the evidences the nature (creation) reveal about God and His supremacy, many people still have shallow knowledge about God and even some don't believe in Him at all. WHAT COMES TO THE MIND

📓Romans 12:2 _And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. (KJV)_ Always, there are many thoughts that come to our mind that we don't expect. These thoughts come due to mainly what we see and hear. Sometimes, the devil also brings some thoughts to our mind just to tempt us. The mind always receives and works on our senses; what we see, hear, feel, smell and taste. It therefore, begins to work on what is received from any of the senses whether good or evil, but we can set guard over its works. It is said, "you can't prevent the birds from flying over your head, but you can prevent them from constructing a nest on your head".
