JESUS, THE WISDOM OF GOD

đź““Proverbs 2:6
_For the Lord gives wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding. (NIV)_

God is the source of wisdom. He grants it only to those who earnestly seek Christ Jesus. This is because God has hidden true wisdom in Jesus Christ. According to John chapter one, Jesus is the "Word of God". And from our opening verse, it is very clear that wisdom comes from the mouth of God, thus, His Word which happens to be Jesus Christ. Therefore anyone who has no Jesus lacks true wisdom.

Actually, anyone who is searching for true wisdom must come to Jesus. God has hidden true wisdom from the rebellious and those who think of themselves wise and clever (Luke 10:21). But those who humble themselves and acknowledge the need for Jesus in their lives find true wisdom, for Christ is the power of God and the wisdom of God (1 Corinthians 1:24). The footpath to wisdom is the Word of God (Jesus Christ). Therefore, when we become obedient to God's Word, we discover and grow in wisdom.

Obviously, anyone who finds Jesus finds true wisdom. And "Joyful is the person who find wisdom, the one who gains understanding. For wisdom is more profitable than silver, and her wages are better than gold" - Proverbs 3:13-14 (nlt). Beloved, "If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and He will not rebuke you for asking. But when you ask Him, be sure that your faith is in God alone. Do not waver, for a person with divided loyalty is an unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed by the wind. Such people should not expect to receive anything from the Lord" - James 1:5-7 (kjv).

THE UNCHANGEABLE DEPENDABLE GOD

Despite all the evidences the nature (creation) reveal about God and His supremacy, many people still have shallow knowledge about God and even some don't believe in Him at all. (KJV)_ Always, there are many thoughts that come to our mind that we don't expect. These thoughts come due to mainly what we see and hear. Sometimes, the devil also brings some thoughts to our mind just to tempt us. The mind always receives and works on our senses; what we see, hear, feel, smell and taste. It therefore, begins to work on what is received from any of the senses whether good or evil, but we can set guard over its works. It is said, "you can't prevent the birds from flying over your head, but you can prevent them from constructing a nest on your head".
