HATRED IS POISONOUS

📓1 John 2:9
_He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now. (KJV)_

Hatred is to intensively dislike something or someone. It's an affection of the heart awakened by something or someone regarded as evil or harmful. The heart is the land of every man where behavioral seeds are planted. The heart therefore, plants what it receives. Obviously, what we allow to enter our hearts is very important because it grows to affect our entire selves. Our hearts play an important role in our Christian life, therefore, we have to guard and control our hearts.

Hatred is caused by an uncontrolled anger linking bitterness which is developed in the heart. Hatred with it companions (anger and bitterness) turn to be a terrible sin because they violate God's command to love. They grow in the heart and corrupt one's life. Hatred and its resulting bitterness are very poisonous and dangerous feelings that portend to jump out of control, causing damages to relationships which lead to spiritual damages.

Beloved, if the presence of someone or hearing his or her name annoys you or causes you to be angry, then you have to work on it by confessing it to God for forgiveness. You are poisoning yourself when you allow hatred and bitterness to grow in your heart. Allow the Holy Spirit to fill your heart to heal all the hurts that causes hatred and bitterness. For it's written, "Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled" - Hebrews 12:15.

Despite all the evidences the nature (creation) reveal about God and His supremacy, many people still have shallow knowledge about God and even some don't believe in Him at all. 📓Romans 12:2 _And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. (KJV)_ Always, there are many thoughts that come to our mind that we don't expect. These thoughts come due to mainly what we see and hear. Sometimes, the devil also brings some thoughts to our mind just to tempt us. The mind always receives and works on our senses; what we see, hear, feel, smell and taste. It therefore, begins to work on what is received from any of the senses whether good or evil, but we can set guard over its works. It is said, "you can't prevent the birds from flying over your head, but you can prevent them from constructing a nest on your head".
