DECIDE AS JOSHUA DID

đź““Deuteronomy 30:15
_See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil; (KJV)_

Life is full of decision making. Before we act, we first decide. Decision brings about action and the action drives us to our destination. Therefore, we must always make a right decision in order to get to a right destination. Notably, a decision can only be a firm one if it continues in action no matter the challenges it faces.

To decide means to make up one's mind. To make up one's mind is to take a stand for a made choice. To make a firm right decision, we must not base on other's decision. Make a decision on your own. Not because a friend has made it. Not because all people are doing it. When it happens so, you may quit when those people do. The choice is yours, so take your time and make a firm right decision on your own.

In taking a definite stand for the Lord of host, Joshua challenged the Israelites to make a decision on their own. Regardless of what others decided, Joshua made a commitment to God, he determined to set an example of living by that decision. He said "...but as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord" - Joshua 24:15. Beloved brethren, everyday, the same challenge comes to each of us. Will you make up your mind as Joshua this day? Once you have chosen to serve the Lord, reaffirm your choice every day.
