BE LED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT

_For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. (KJV)_

As believers in Christ Jesus, we have two forces at work within us; the force of darkness and the force of light. The darkness signifies the flesh (the sinful nature) and the light signifies God's Spirit (the Holy Spirit). Anyone who is not a believer in Christ is controlled only by his or her sinful nature (darkness). But at the moment one becomes a believer, he or she receives the Holy Spirit (the Light of God). However, light and darkness do not meet; they disagree, they therefore fight each other.

Obviously, as Christians, there is great tension in our daily experiences. We are engaged in a spiritual battle in which we earnestly desire that we may obtain full victory over us sinful nature. However, we must not underrate the power of sin and try to overcome it by our own strength. Instead, we must uphold God's provision over sin, that is the Holy Spirit who lives within us and He who empowers us. For it is not by might, neither by power, but by the Spirit of the LORD of hosts (Zachariah 4:6).

Beloved, do not try to please God or overcome sin by just keeping laws without the help of the Holy Spirit. "This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that you cannot do the things that you would. But if you be led of the Spirit, you are not under the law" - Galatians 5:16-18. Therefore, be sensitive to discern between the Spirit's promptings and your feelings, and fall for the Spirit's. Let's live each day controlled and guided by the Holy Spirit.

THE UNCHANGEABLE DEPENDABLE GOD

đź““Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever. (KJV)_ David said, "the heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork" - Psalm 19:1. Despite all the evidences the nature (creation) reveal about God and His supremacy, many people still have shallow knowledge about God and even some don't believe in Him at all. WHAT COMES TO THE MIND

đź““Romans 12:2 _And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. (KJV)_ Always, there are many thoughts that come to our mind that we don't expect. These thoughts come due to mainly what we see and hear. Sometimes, the devil also brings some thoughts to our mind just to tempt us. The mind always receives and works on our senses; what we see, hear, feel, smell and taste. It therefore, begins to work on what is received from any of the senses whether good or evil, but we can set guard over its works. It is said, "you can't prevent the birds from flying over your head, but you can prevent them from constructing a nest on your head".
