HOW TO DRESS

📓1 Corinthians 10:31 
_Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God. (KJV)_

As Christians, our every action must give glory to the Most High God. In other words, whatever we do, whether in word or deed, we must do it all as a representation of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him (Colossians 3:17). Now the question is, do our dressings give glory to God? How are Christians suppose to dress? Dressing normally speaks of ones ethnicity or cultural background, and mental status; whether sane or insane. Therefore Christians should dress accordingly.

Today, dressing among Christians has become a debateful issue. However, it shouldn't be a topic for discussion while it is clearly written in the Scripture. Apostle Paul made it clear that Christians are to dress modestly, with decency and propriety, adorning themselves with good deeds and not necessarily dressing fancily to draw attention to themselves (1 Timothy 2:9-10). Apparently, we are to wear clothes that are right and proper. Actually, we must make "modesty and decency" the key words in our dressings.

Beloved, what impression do people have of Christ Jesus when they see your dressing? Can Christ be seen from your dressing? Note that your dressing speaks well of you. Therefore you must bring honor to Christ Jesus in every aspect of your daily living including how you dress. "Don't be concerned about the outward beauty of fancy hairstyles, expensive jewelry, or beautiful clothes. You should clothe yourself instead with the beauty that comes from within, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is so precious to God" (1 Peter 3:3-4, nlt). In all, whatever we say or do; both our behavior and dressing must give glory and honor to the Lord.

THE UNCHANGEABLE DEPENDABLE GOD

📓Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever. (KJV)_ David said, "the heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork" - Psalm 19:1. Despite all the evidences the nature (creation) reveal about God and His supremacy, many people still have shallow knowledge about God and even some don't believe in Him at all. WHAT COMES TO THE MIND

📓Romans 12:2 _And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. (KJV)_ Always, there are many thoughts that come to our mind that we don't expect. These thoughts come due to mainly what we see and hear. Sometimes, the devil also brings some thoughts to our mind just to tempt us. The mind always receives and works on our senses; what we see, hear, feel, smell and taste. It therefore, begins to work on what is received from any of the senses whether good or evil, but we can set guard over its works. It is said, "you can't prevent the birds from flying over your head, but you can prevent them from constructing a nest on your head".
