JOY IN CHRIST JESUS

_These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full. (KJV)_

Today, many Christians often feel misfit because they don't view things in God's perspective. They are blind to the joy they have in Christ Jesus. They tend to think of unbelievers as rather joyful. Due to the rolling waves of circumstances, adversities, and persecutions in Christianity, it seems the world (unbelievers) is rejoicing over Christians. However,  the values of the world and the values of God are often in an opposite position. Actually, a compatible relationship with Christ Jesus is what bring joy, nothing else.

Apostle Paul said, "Because of our faith, Christ has brought us into this place of undeserved privilege where we now stand, and we confidently and joyfully look forward to sharing God's glory. We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trails, for we know that help us develop endurance. And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident of hope of salvation. And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because He has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with His love" - Romans 5:1-5 (nlt).

Beloved, you may be going through tough situations because you stand for the truth (Jesus). Things may not go as you want in this life because you have consecrated yourself. Besides, unbelievers may seem rejoicing while you weep, yet, if you continue to relate with Christ, it is you who have the true joy. Don't forget what Jesus said; "Very truly I tell you, you will weep and mourn while the world rejoices. You will grieve, but your grief will turn to joy... Now is your time of grief, but I will see you again and you will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy" - John 16:20-23 (niv). Hallelujah!

THE UNCHANGEABLE DEPENDABLE GOD

Despite all the evidences the nature (creation) reveal about God and His supremacy, many people still have shallow knowledge about God and even some don't believe in Him at all. They therefore limit the power of the Lord in situations. They face difficulties and think they are too big for the Lord to handle. WHAT COMES TO THE MIND

(KJV)_ Always, there are many thoughts that come to our mind that we don't expect. These thoughts come due to mainly what we see and hear. Sometimes, the devil also brings some thoughts to our mind just to tempt us. The mind always receives and works on our senses; what we see, hear, feel, smell and taste. It therefore, begins to work on what is received from any of the senses whether good or evil, but we can set guard over its works. It is said, "you can't prevent the birds from flying over your head, but you can prevent them from constructing a nest on your head".
