ALWAYS BE GRATEFUL TO GOD

_O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: because his mercy endureth for ever. (KJV)_

There are people who are ungrateful. It seems they have ungratefulness in their DNA. They wouldn't appreciate you despite the care and help you offer them. Their ungratefulness therefore eats into their Christian life. They close their eyes off all that God has been doing for them. Actually, they are like the nine out of the ten lepers Jesus healed.

Ten lepers cried to Jesus Christ for mercy. Jesus with compassion, said to them, "...'Go show yourselves to the priests'. And as they went, they were cleansed of their leprosy. One of them, when saw that he was healed, came back to Jesus, shouting, 'Praise God!' He fell on the ground at Jesus' feet, thanking Him for what He had done. This man was a Samaritan. Jesus asked, 'Didn't I heal ten men? Where are the other nine? Has no one returned to give glory to God except this foreigner? And Jesus said to the man, 'Stand up and go. You faith has healed you'" - Luke 17:14-17 (nlt). Obviously, only one out of the ten men had a grateful spirit. And due to his gratefulness, he alone was perfectly healed.

Beloved, we must always be appreciative to God for His lovely care, help and mercy. If not by His grace, we would have been swallowed by the devil long ago. Besides, it is important to know that Christians who are grateful grow strong in faith and get deep insight of God's Grace. Like the one out of the ten lepers, praise God and thank Him for what He has done and is doing in your life. Also, develop a prayer life which is more of appreciation and Thanksgiving. Not all, "Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name" - Psalm 100:4.

THE UNCHANGEABLE DEPENDABLE GOD

Despite all the evidences the nature (creation) reveal about God and His supremacy, many people still have shallow knowledge about God and even some don't believe in Him at all. WHAT COMES TO THE MIND

(KJV)_ Always, there are many thoughts that come to our mind that we don't expect. These thoughts come due to mainly what we see and hear. Sometimes, the devil also brings some thoughts to our mind just to tempt us. The mind always receives and works on our senses; what we see, hear, feel, smell and taste. It therefore, begins to work on what is received from any of the senses whether good or evil, but we can set guard over its works. It is said, "you can't prevent the birds from flying over your head, but you can prevent them from constructing a nest on your head".
