ON THE CROSS

** 🔥Spiritual Food🍲 📓1 Corinthians 1:18 _For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. (KJV)_ Christ Jesus was sent to die for everyone's sin. He was crucified; was put to death by being nailed on a crossed wooden bars. He died for we sinners. "Now, most people would not be willing to die for upright person, though someone might perhaps be willing to die for a person who is especially good. But God showed His great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinner" - Romans 5:7-8 (nlt). Obviously, we deserved not to be showed this great love but God did for us. Why don't we accept this great offer? The Cross has won great freedom for you and I. Those who executed Christ on the Cross thought they were killing a man who was trampling on their freedom. They didn't realize that doing that was rather releasing the key to their own freedom and ours. Beloved, you will

YOU MIGHT NOT KNOW WHY

đź““1 Samuel 9:17 _And when Samuel saw Saul, the LORD said unto him, Behold the man whom I spake to thee of! this same shall reign over my people. (KJV)_ Events don't just happen to us; whether good or bad. As a matter of fact, everything happens for a reason. Have you thought of it before? Let us learn something from this Biblical story. One day, a father sent His son named Saul, to go and look for his lost donkeys. In obedience, Saul went with his servant in search of the donkeys. They did their best in searching but they found them not. Saul therefore, decided to give up because he thought his father might be worried about them. However, he was encouraged by his servant when he did mention of a man of God who lived around. They went to him therefore hoping that they will know where the donkeys are by his words. But something unexpected happened. Though Saul went in search for his father's donkeys, unknowingly, God had sent him there to be anointed as the King of Israel (1

STRIP OFF WHAT WEIGHS YOU DOWN

đź““1 Corinthians 9:24 _Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain. (KJV)_ Christianity is a calling. Jesus Christ revealed, "No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day" - John 6:44. To explain, God calls us to Christ for Him to give us life. He calls us from sin (death) to life. And the calling is like, God says, "My child, run away from death to life; RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!" Apparently, God calls us and sets before us a race; not a competitive race, but a run for your life race. And to successfully run this race, we must throw off anything that hinders us and slows us down. When the Lord was saving Lot and his family, he ordered them, "..Run for your lives! And don't look back or stop anywhere in the valley! Escape to the mountains, or you will be swept away!" - Genesis 19:17 (nlt). Actually, God revealed to them what woul

RESPECT ALL PERSONS

đź““Proverbs 28:21 _To have respect of persons is not good: for for a piece of bread that man will transgress. (KJV)_ It is said "respect is a reciprocal; you give and receive". Do you show respect to others? On what basis do you do that? Mostly, the respect and honor we show to others involves ulterior motives. For instance, we show respect to those we think can offer us something in return. Most of us are easily impressed by wealth, fame, status or prestige and for that matter, only those who are found within these impressive zones receive our respect. This is an acts of favouritism. However, as Christians, we respect people with love considering the fact that they have been created in God's own image and likeness. Also, we do that because they are like us and that they also deserve to be showed whatever we want others to show to us. It is said in Matthew 7:12 that, "do to others whatever you would like them to do to you. This is the essence of all that is taugh

ACKNOWLEDGING GOD'S ABILITY IN YOU

đź““Philippians 4:13 _I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. (KJV)_ Many people are stagnant in so many areas of their life because they set limits for themselves. In what sense? They acknowledge and say that they can't move on; they admit that they can't be victorious or successful, and can't move out of their trouble. So they remain in it. Their negative acknowledgements bring them limitations. The fact is, what we acknowledge is what we act upon. When you acknowledge that you can't, surely, you can't and thus, you set limit for yourself. Nevertheless, as Christians, we must acknowledge the ability of God in us through Christ Jesus. God is able to save, deliver, heal, bless, and the like. When we acknowledge that, His ability will work in our life. Apostle Paul acknowledged God's ability in him. So he declared, "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me" - Philippians 4:13. Actually, Paul did not limit himself i
