FEED YOUR MIND RIGHTLY

The heart of him that hath understanding seeketh knowledge: but the mouth of fools feedeth on foolishness. (KJV)

The words we speak and our actions are all influenced by what we put into our mind. The mind is fed by the working of the five senses, thus, what we see, hear, feel, smell and taste. In all, what we see and hear feed the mind the most. The kinds of people we talk with, the books and magazines we read, the music we listen to, and the videos we watch are all part of our MENTAL DIET.

It is written, "...whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting" - Galatians 6:7-8. Obviously, what a man sows in the mind will determine the outcome. In other words, the destination of a man starts from within the mind. You must therefore examine what you are feeding the mind with through books, internet, television, videos, and any other medium for it determines your destination.

 Beloved, what you feed your mind is just important as what you feed your body. AVOID listening to worthless music, ignorant conversations, watching pornographic films and pictures, and the like. Feed your mind with thoughts that are right, pure, true, honorable and things that are worthy of praise. Be discerning because what you feed your mind influences your total well-being. Not all, feed your mind always with the WORD OF GOD. Pray to God for the power and strength to focus your mind on what is good.

THE UNCHANGEABLE DEPENDABLE GOD

Despite all the evidences the nature (creation) reveal about God and His supremacy, many people still have shallow knowledge about God and even some don't believe in Him at all. đź““Romans 12:2 _And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. (KJV)_ Always, there are many thoughts that come to our mind that we don't expect. These thoughts come due to mainly what we see and hear. Sometimes, the devil also brings some thoughts to our mind just to tempt us. The mind always receives and works on our senses; what we see, hear, feel, smell and taste. It therefore, begins to work on what is received from any of the senses whether good or evil, but we can set guard over its works. It is said, "you can't prevent the birds from flying over your head, but you can prevent them from constructing a nest on your head".
