THE CURTAIN IS REMOVED

📓Mark 15:37,38 _With a loud cry, Jesus breathed His last. The curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. (NIV)_ At First, that's, in the old testament, people had to approach God through priests and sacrifices. In the Tabernacle (Temple), there were two sacred rooms called the Holy Place and the Most Holy Place. There was a curtain which separated the two sacred rooms. The priest entered the Holy Place each day to commune with God. But as for the Most Holy Place, the priest was allowed to enter once a year to make atonement for the sins of all the people. Other than that, anyone who enters would die. Symbolically, the Most Holy Place was where God Himself dwelt (His presence) and that the curtain separated the Holy God from sinful people. From our text, when Jesus died on the cross, the curtain in the Temple tore from top to bottom confirming that the world had relocated into a new era.
